"A lower division team has not won the U.S. Open Cup since 1999. In a year that featured a record 103 teams, Republic FC defeated three MLS sides to earn a spot in the final – San Jose Earthquakes, LA Galaxy, and Sporting Kansas City," according to a club release.
The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Republic FC flag. Exclusive commemorative merchandise will also be released only at the watch party.
