Elk Grove teen music prodigy to perform on The Jennifer Hudson Show
From his home in Elk Grove to the Warner Brothers studio, Elk Grove teen and music prodigy Neil Nayyar is scheduled to perform on the Jennifer Hudson show on Wednesday.
The 17-year-old has mastered 117 different instruments from around the world. He joined KCRA 3 live on Wednesday ahead of airing on national television.

KCRA 3 spoke to Nayyar this summer. He said he's mostly learned all of the instruments by himself through books and watching YouTube videos.
Nayyar said he started drum lessons at the age of 6.
"After one drum lesson, I was playing the drums like an old pro," Nayyar said. "It happened naturally."
His second instrument was the guitar.
"After learning the guitar, I felt like I had the inspiration to keep learning more and more instruments," he said.
The music prodigy set his first world record at the age of 12 for playing 44 musical instruments.
Nayyar also has a children's book giving people a sneak peek on how to play all the instruments he knows.
You can watch him perform on The Jennifer Hudson Show on KCRA 3 at 2 p.m.
