Former president, Jimmy Carter, who's been in hospice care since last year is celebrating his 1/100 birthday at home in Plains Georgia. Carter went from peanut farmer to state politician to 39th president. His legacy includes passing landmark energy bills, doubling national parks, land and deregulating the oil and gas industries while creating the strategic petroleum reserve internationally. Carter helped secure the Camp David, *** historic peace agreement between Israel and Egypt and won *** Nobel Peace Prize for his work in human rights and social welfare in retirement. He worked alongside his late wife, Rosalynn Carter as an advocate for habitat for humanity. Rosalyn died in November and it was the last time the former president was seen in public ahead of his 1/100 birthday. Stars and leaders paid tribute to Carter as the rock and roll president at *** music charity Gala in Atlanta. He loved music and he loved all kinds of music. I mean, he would even celebrate music from all over the world, of course, right. He traveled to over 100 countries and in every single place, I think he engaged with people through music. The Carter family says the former president is still thinking about politics.
