Louisiana boy with autism lives his dream at Taylor Swift's final New Orleans concert
It was rare, and he was there. Yes, Louisiana's biggest Taylor Swift fan most certainly will remember Sunday night "All Too Well."
Evan Grossnickle, a 15-year-old with autism, attended Swift's final Eras Tour show at the Caesars Superdome thanks to a generous gift from a family friend.
Grossnickle went viral earlier this year after he danced with his school janitor to "Shake Off" the first day of school jitters.
His family says Swift's influence on his life has been immeasurable.
"She's given him a tool to speak to others, which is a pretty big gift," said Dion, Evan's father. "She allowed kids to speak to him, and in a world with a child with autism, that's very difficult."
Evan has even made friends at school through his love of Swift.
Grossnickle took his best friend, his mother, to the concert wearing his "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" shirt and his very own "22 hat."
