SPLIT. BACK TO YOU. ALL RIGHT. THANKS SO MUCH, BRIAN. TO OUR COMMITMENT 2024 COVERAGE. THERE IS JUST ONE MORE DAY UNTIL THE ELECTION IN SACRAMENTO COUNTY. ANOTHER 70 LOCATIONS OPEN UP THIS WEEKEND FOR A TOTAL OF 88 VOTE CENTERS FOR PEOPLE TO USE. AND KCRA 3’S LETICIA ORDAZ IS LIVE NOW AT THE SACRAMENTO COUNTY ELECTIONS OFFICE WITH MORE ON WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO MAKE SURE YOUR BALLOT IS COUNTED. AND LETICIA, WE SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE ALREADY PUTTING IN THEIR BALLOTS THIS MORNING. YEAH, THERE HAS BEEN A STEADY STREAM OF PEOPLE COMING THROUGH SINCE 4:00 THIS MORNING. BUT IF YOU’RE PANICKING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE YOU CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHERE YOUR BALLOT IS OR YOU SIMPLY FORGOT TO REGISTER TO VOTE. ELECTIONS OFFICIALS SAY NOT TO WORRY. STOP BY ANY VOTE CENTER TODAY OR TOMORROW, AND THEY’RE GOING TO BE ABLE TO HELP YOU HERE AT THE COLOMA COMMUNITY CENTER THIS WEEKEND, VOLUNTEERS HELPED A NUMBER OF PEOPLE REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE FIRST TIME. AND IF YOU HAVE A MAIL IN BALLOT BUT YOU HAVEN’T TURNED IT IN, KEEP IN MIND THAT IN ORDER FOR YOUR VOTE TO COUNT, IT HAS TO BE POSTMARKED BY NOVEMBER 5TH. SO WE’RE TALKING ABOUT TOMORROW. YOU CAN DROP IT OFF AT ANY VOTE CENTER INSTEAD OF HAVING TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE. AND IF YOU STUDIED YOUR SAMPLE BALLOT, IT MAY ONLY TAKE YOU 5 TO 10 MINUTES TO VOTE. BUT YOU CAN TAKE AS LONG AS YOU NEED. IF YOU COME IN TO A VOTE CENTER TO VOTE, NO ONE IS GOING TO TRY TO RUSH YOU. ALSO, ELECTION OFFICIALS SAY DESPITE SOME MISINFORMATION CIRCULATING OUT THERE, YOUR VOTE IS SAFE AND SECURE. MAKES IT CONVENIENT, MAKES IT EASY TO VOTE. YOU COME ON DOWN AND WE WILL GET YOU A BALLOT HERE THAT YOU CAN EITHER TAKE WITH YOU TO GO VOTE STILL, OR COME IN AND VOTE IN PERSON. HERE IN THE CENTER. OKAY, SO TIME IS QUICKLY RUNNING OUT. THE POLLS ARE CLOSING TOMORROW NIGHT AT 8 P.M., BUT GET THIS IF YOU’RE IN LINE, THEY HAVE TO LET YOU VOTE. SO DO KEEP THAT IN MIND. AND DON’T GET FRUSTRATED IF YOU WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE AND YOU ARE DEALING WITH THOSE LINES AT THE VOTE CENTER TOMORR
