A GROUP OF LODI HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HELPING LOCAL KIDS CHRISTMAS DREAMS COME TRUE TODAY. STUDENT VOLUNTEERS TEAMED UP WITH THE SALVATION ARMY TO SHOP FOR TOYS, SHOES, BIKES AND ANYTHING ELSE. A KIDDO MIGHT NEED. EVERYTHING WILL BE GIVEN TO CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE AREA. THE SALVATION ARMY SAYS THAT THIS YEAR THEY ARE EXPECTING TO SHOP FOR MORE THAN 200 FAMILIES, MAKING THIS THEIR LARGEST SHOPPING SPREE TO DATE. THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS JUST GET A REALLY GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO SHOP FOR OTHER KIDS. THEY’RE ENTHUSIASM IS WORTH EVERYTHING TO US TO SEE THAT THEY ARE PUTTING THEMSELVES IN FRONT OF, YOU KNOW, A SATURDAY AFTERNOON WHEN THEY COULD BE DOING ANYTHING. THEY’RE THEY’RE HERE HELPING US.
