One person was found dead following a fire in a Citrus Heights bedroom on Monday, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said.Crews responded to the fire just after 9 a.m. on Mariposa Avenue near Greenback Lane.Officials said crews found an extinguished fire in a bedroom and a dead person in a bed in that same room.
