SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WHEN THE CORNISH ACTUALLY SETTLED HERE. AND WE’VE BEEN DOING THIS EVER SINCE. INSTRUMENTS OF JOY FROM CHRISTMAS CAROLING, FOOD AND DRINKS, THE MULLED WINE, THE MULLED WINE, INDEED. THAT’S THE BEST PART. AND SHOPPING. A LOT OF PEOPLE BUY THESE CANDLES AS GIFTS. A LOT OF PEOPLE COME AND CROSS OFF EVERYBODY’S SHOPPING LIST, SO AND WE GET A LOT OF REPEAT CUSTOMERS AS WELL. IT’S ALL COVERED IN THE TWO BLOCK STRETCH, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN. IT DOES. IT DOES GET YOU IN THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT. YOU KNOW, AND IT’S HARD TO GET AWAY FROM YOUR WORKADAY LIFE AND AND RELAX A LITTLE BIT. SO WE’RE REALLY GLAD WE CAME. THE OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS STREET FAIR BRINGING LOCALS. ALL THE FAMILY GOT TOGETHER YESTERDAY. SO EVERYONE FROM OUT OF TOWN IS IN TOWN. SO A LOT OF PEOPLE YOU DON’T SEE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THEY’RE ALL HERE AND SOME EVEN TRAVELING FROM FARAWAY PLACES LIKE AUSTRALIA. I FLEW IN AGAIN THIS MORNING, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR. IT’S MY SECOND TIME I SHOULD HAVE COME ABOUT A WEEK LATER, BUT I INSISTED ON COMING EARLY JUST FOR THIS. THIS YEAR. BRINGING FAMILIES AND FUN ALL TOGETHER. DEFINITELY ALL THE FESTIVITIES, ALL THE FOOD, ALL THE DRINKS, ALL THE FAMILIES OUT HERE. JUST GETTING TO SEE EVERYBODY. YEAH. THE CAROLERS. I LOVE THE TREE. YEAH, JUST ALL THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Annual Cornish Christmas kicking off the holiday season in Grass Valley

Grass Valley kicked off the holiday season with its 56th annual Cornish Christmas Street Faire on Friday. The event brings food, vendors and families together every year."All the festivities, all the food, all the drinks, all the families out here. Just getting to see everybody, the carolers. I love the tree. It's just all the Christmas decorations," said Bret Cloney and Maggie O'Callahan.Some attendees traveled all the way from Australia. "I flew in again this morning, just like last year. It's my second time. I should have come about a week later, but I insisted on coming early just for this," said Nigel Robertson. "This is such great energy here.
