A great way to kick off your holiday vacation at North Lake Tahoe is a visit to Mt. Rose on Dec. 14 to enjoy the annual Santa Ski Day. Starting at 10:30 a.m., skiers dressed as Santa or in full holiday attire can get a discounted lift ticket. Simply wearing a Santa hat does not qualify, so dress as festive as possible.
