The tallest elf in the North Pole is making his second holiday appearance in downtown Rutland, Vermont.Above the Innovation Center on Merchant's Row, you can find none other than Buddy the Elf from the hit movie "Elf."The giant cutout image was donated to the Wonderfeet Kid's Museum by Green Mountain Power.The cut-out shows Buddy, played by comedian Will Ferrell, watching people pass by during the holiday season as he appears to be climbing out of the building itself."Elf" is the story of Buddy, a human who believes he is one of Santa's elves, who travels to New York to find his estranged father during the holiday season and winds up helping Santa Claus save Christmas. The 2003 film has become a beloved holiday favorite and raked in more than $177 million at the box office. It has since gone on to become a Broadway musical and an animated special.
