Sheriff's deputies in Williamson County, Illinois, are being praised for their quick actions that saved a pregnant woman trapped in a runaway car on Monday.
The woman called 911 in a panic, explaining that her brakes had failed and she couldn't stop her vehicle.
Deputies quickly responded to a rural area of the county and located the car on a route leading to a lake.
The woman was unharmed, and the vehicle is currently being inspected to determine the cause of the brake failure.
