The Federal Trade Commission is issuing refunds to Fortnite players for unwanted purchases, with claims accepted until January 10, 2025.

Hi. Yeah, you may remember when we first told you about this fortnight settlement last year. Epic Games. The company behind Fortnite agreed to pay $245 million to settle claims. It tricked players into making unwanted purchases. Now, the FTC is sending the refunds and says the average payment is 100 and 14 bucks found money. And here's the thing. They're still taking claims you have until January 10th 2025 to file one you're eligible. If any of these things happen to you one, you were charged in game currency for items you didn't want between January of 17 and September of 22 2. Your child made charges to your credit card without your knowledge between January 2017 and November 2018 3. Your account was locked between January 2017 and September 2022. After you complain to your credit card company, you'll need to go to this website, Fortnite, refund.com/file dash uh dash claim back to you.
