A man fleeing officers in Massachusetts tried unsuccessfully to elude capture by hiding in a chimney, according to police.Police said when officers tried to execute a search warrant at a home Tuesday night, two men fled onto a rooftop."(One man) invoked the essence of the seasonal icon and attempted to hide inside of a chimney," police said in a statement. "(He) quickly became stuck in the chimney and required the assistance of the very detectives he was previously fleeing."The man, identified as Robert Langlias, 33, was rescued and taken into custody."Due to his Santa-antics, Langlias was transported to a local hospital out of precaution and was medically cleared," police said.The second man eluded capture by bounding from the roof and onto a parked vehicle. Tanisha Ibay, 32, was also arrested at the property and charged with possession of Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs.
