Man dies after Woodland shooting on Sunday, police say
A man died after being shot in Woodland on Sunday, police said.
Police said they responded to reports of a shooting around 3:55 p.m. on Baird Court near Powers Circle.
They found the victim with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the hospital. More details about his identity were not released.
Witnesses said they saw a man in his 20s flee on foot toward a Bel-Air shopping center, police said. The suspect was described as wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, faded-black pants and dark-colored shoes.
Those who live in the area around Baird Court are asked to share any possible home security camera or dashcam footage they may have with police.
