A crash critically injured a bicyclist and shut down part of a roadway in Citrus Heights on Monday night.According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, Van Maren Lane is closed in both directions between Donegal Drive and Greenback Lane, with no estimated reopening time.Sacramento Metro Fire District, the crash involved a bicyclist and another vehicle. CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. —

A crash critically injured a bicyclist and shut down part of a roadway in Citrus Heights on Monday night.

According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, Van Maren Lane is closed in both directions between Donegal Drive and Greenback Lane, with no estimated reopening time.

Sacramento Metro Fire District, the crash involved a bicyclist and another vehicle. The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
