The Sacramento Police Department finally released video Monday -- two weeks after the city's deadline -- of an officer-involved shooting that happened in February.It was the first incident since the Sacramento City Council passed an ordinance requiring the police department to release video of all officer-involved shootings within 30 days.Last week, city council members questioned why the videos were not made public, pressuring the department to release them quickly.The department responded to criticism from the city council by citing the extensive work needed to edit the footage in order to protect witnesses and victims before it was released to the public.It took the department 45 days to release the footage. "As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, the department has released dispatch audio files, in-car camera videos, and a photograph of a weapon recovered at the scene," the police department said in a news release Monday.The videos show the aftermath of an officer-involved shooting on Feb. 10 near Land Avenue and Del Paso Boulevard.Undercover officers were monitoring 28-year-old Armani Lee, a wanted man, as he left a home on Land Avenue. When officers approached him, Lee shot at a K-9 officer inside a police cruiser, investigators said.Four officers then returned fire, wounding Lee.Videos captured from inside several police cruisers showed officers rushing toward Lee with guns drawn before calling for medical assistance.Lee received treatment at a nearby hospital before being booked in the Sacramento County Jail on multiple charges.The videos captured by dash cams did not show officers shooting Lee."None of the officers involved in this incident were issued body-worn cameras," the police department said.All 21 clips from the dash cams were posted by the police department on YouTube.

The videos show the aftermath of an officer-involved shooting on Feb. 10 near Land Avenue and Del Paso Boulevard.
